Aberystwyth Student Travel
Campus, halls and station journeys within our Aberystwyth pickup area.
We've Got Your Back
We know that student life in Aberystwyth is unique. Whether it's those early morning lectures on Penglais Campus, late nights at the Hugh Owen Library, or safe rides home from the SU or Pier, John's Taxis can help with student travel.
Our normal pickup area is Aberystwyth, Penparcau, Llanbadarn Fawr, Waunfawr and Penglais. Longer student journeys can start there when booked in advance.
Safe Rides Home
Our top priority is getting you home safely after a night out.
Local & Advance Bookings
Call for local, late-night, and advance bookings.
Common Student Journeys
Call with your pickup and destination for current pricing.
Before You Book
Agree your meeting point
Give the name of your hall or campus building, the entrance you will use and your destination. Confirm the pickup point when you call, especially around Penglais, Fferm Penglais, Penbryn or Pantycelyn.
Tell us about passengers and bags
For moving day or a group journey, tell us how many people are travelling and the number and size of bags or boxes. We will confirm what fits before you book; please do not assume one car can carry a whole group and its luggage.
Check late-night availability
Call to check availability and agree a pickup time. Book very late or early journeys in advance. Local journeys are metered; ask for current pricing when you call rather than relying on a fixed campus fare.
